Introducing the mycito* AMO
online anywhere, anytime.

The mycito* AMO (Academy Management Office) is based on the best-of-breed mycito* LMS user flows. The AMO is focused on providing skilled onsite and remote mycito* consulting resources at your campuses to fast track feature adoption, coaching and management through the AMO.

what does the AMO do?

The AMO is a joint team of MYCITO* resources and internal staff that takes daily oversight on all current activities by defining existing teams and reporting structures on all internal projects. Projects, milestones, deliverables, resources and tasks are then created by the AMO inside MYCITO* to drive all workflow processes. Workflow processes define daily, weekly and monthly tasks as per role schedule to produce managerial and executive reports on all academy and business activities throughout the organisation. The AMO team reviews daily delivery on all project tasks, deliverables and milestones while coordinating the hand over process of workflows into teams and ownership of the AMO to the client by slowly detaching the MYCITO* resources over the course of a planned and executed roadmap.

The AMO roadmap starts with a AMO Setup meeting, a 1 - 2 DAY session during which team members are identified, AMO training schedules are planned and the AMO project scope and outputs are drafted in alignment to accomplish a final AMO review and handover. Individual teams will then be trained onsite where the AMO workflow processes (illustrated and printed in step-by-step diagrams) are reviewed, followed and mentored on. Team members can raise questions to be loaded in the staff portal as FAQ’s for review by the whole organisation and suggest improvements to the workflow diagrams for uploading and publishing as PDF’s in the staff portal for downloading and printing. The AMO will also capture IDEAS and RISKS as part of the umbrella AMO project as identified during training sessions.

Training sessions follow a predefined roadmap and assumes all attendees are familiar with computer based LMS (learner record management software) principles, such as capturing enrollment information, scheduling training, updating attendance registers, scanning evidence and closing to-do tasks. Generally these aforementioned tasks are performed in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and similar products. Staff members not yet familiar with LMS principles or joining a team later on in the MYCITO* roadmap as new users should be paired with an active MYCITO* user for offline post training session mentoring and coaching by their pairing partner to ensure no-one is behind. All AMO training session material is shared within your MYCITO* staff portal for review.

To complete the AMO roadmap one or more champion MYCITO* users at each campus must sign-off on all workflow processes and the continued execution of the AMO project schedule and recipe within the organisation as project coordinators of the AMO at their campus and within the organisation as an umbrella oversight team.
